
Jazmine was born and raised to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Pam her mother has been a backup singer in the past at Philadelphia International Records. At the age of five the father of her was chosen as the curator of Strawberry Mansion Section. Strawberry Mansion Section. Her family then moved into the iconic building. As a 2005 Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts graduate and a major in vocal performance. Sullivan was first singing in the kids' chorus in the contralto position, after which she was a part of the adult chorus a couple of years further on. The exposure Sullivan had to secular music was initially minimal "I performed solos at church and someone wanted me to sign to an gospel label when I had turned eleven, however I wasn't yet ready," she recalls. "I was lucky enough to be selected for the McDonald's contest, where students from big cities the opportunity to perform 'Accept the things God allows'. The audience responded very well." She performed alongside Stevie Wonder at his grandson's birthday in the year 13. Sullivan made her first signing to Jive Records when she was 15. In the age group of 15, she was signed to Jive Records. She recorded an entire album at Jive Records, however it didn't get released. Sullivan was ultimately removed on the labels. The singer had a great working relations along with Missy Elliott. Elliott produced some of her tracks such as "Backstabbers" the track that was produced by Timbaland.
