Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American writer, singer and actress best known for her portrayal of Ginger Grant in the 1960s the television show Gilligan's Island. In the 1950s, she began her professional career as an actor on stage with Bettle Davis' musical Two's Company. Thereafter she acted in numerous Broadway shows before going big on the national theatre area with Li'l abner's in 1957. The same year, She recorded her first album, It's the Right Time to Tina. Louise embarked on a journey to Hollywood as Griselda Walden, a character from God's Big Acre, a film about drama that was released in 1958.The film was praised widely and Louise was awarded the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. In the course of this film, she was enrolled into Actors Studio in New York and became acquainted to Lee Strasberg as his student. The year 1964 saw her win her second notable role, when CBS signed her to portray Ginger Grant. Louise played a wonderful job juggling Broadway as well as Hollywood. She was portrayed as a dark different characters, which contrasted with the glamorous doll she was seen as. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. Stargate: SG-1 Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. In recent times she's also made her impression as a director for various popular TV shows such as Supernatural as well as The 100. Her family moved away from Essex to Toronto and she lived there for the majority of her childhood and teens. After being chosen in 1997 to play Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has been living in Vancouver ever since.
