Tina Louise is a popular American writer, singer and actress best known for her portrayal of Ginger Grant in the 1960s the television show Gilligan's Island. In the 1950s, she began her professional career as an actor on stage with Bettle Davis' musical Two's Company. Thereafter she acted in numerous Broadway shows before going big on the national theatre area with Li'l abner's in 1957. The same year, She recorded her first album, It's the Right Time to Tina. Louise embarked on a journey to Hollywood as Griselda Walden, a character from God's Big Acre, a film about drama that was released in 1958.The film was praised widely and Louise was awarded the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category.
