Tessa Thompson
The actor Tessa Lynn Thompson was born on October 3, 1983 in Los Angeles, California. She is the daughter Marc Anthony Thompson (a singer/songwriter) and his granddaughter Bobby Ramos, an actor/musician. Her birthplace was in Los Angeles and raised there before moving to Brooklyn. Her father is of Afro-Panamanian ancestry and her mother is from Mexican as well as British Isles origins. Thompson was involved in several productions while at Santa Monica High School. Following graduation, she was enrolled in Santa Monica College, where she graduated with a certificate in the field of cultural anthropology. In the role of Juliet the character in William Shakespeare's play "Romeo and Juliet" during a Pasadena California production by The Boston Court Theatre. Her performance from made her a NAACP Theatre nomination the same year. Tessa began her television debut in 2005. The show she starred in was a CBS Series.
