Anna Silk

Anna Silk is Canadian actress who has been best known in Canada by her character as Bo. Silk was born Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk, an academic as well as Peter Silk who was a well-known actor as well as a producer, director, writer, teacher, as well as Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is able to recall her first experiences of playing rehearsals together with her mother. Silk was a part of numerous commercials for kids. She graduated with a Bachelors degree in Arts at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two productions in the early years: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk made the move to Toronto to further her acting profession in November 1999, and during the following decade relocated into Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman is her future husband, who she first was introduced to in Los Angeles at an Actors workshop. In 2009, the couple were married in a civil ceremony in December of 2009. They renewed their vows April 10th, 2011 in Fredericton following the time that Silk was converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was blessed with her son, Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May 2013. Levi Aaron, her second baby was born on May 13, 2016. Silk is known for her tv role as Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009, she received nominations from the Gemini Awards. In 2009 she landed the lead role as Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television show Lost Girl. Silk became pregnant during production of the season three finale, and revealed this to viewers on Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on 6 January 2013. On June 4, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the start of production on the fourth season. On June 20, 2013 Silk announced via Twitter that she was back to work on the show. CNN has named Bo's character with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most watched TV couples of all time. E! voted it as the most popular TV couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk has an enormous social media following, including Facebook and Twitter, as a direct consequence of its popularity.
